Our ministry reaches out to those around us and in our community through fellowship, discipleship, encouragement in faith, and serving others. As we affirm accountability in our individual walks, we lovingly embrace our different stages of life, while laughing along the way.

As women made in God’s image, we were created for relationships, both with God and with one another. It is especially vital that moms experience this kind of community in their season of raising littles. Motherhood is a journey that brings indescribable love and joy, but we also know that it comes with its share of struggles. Moms need the hope of the gospel continually spoken over them. Moms need other moms.
We are a group of women who meet regularly for a time of refreshment and renewal. Whether you are looking to simply connect with other moms, looking for encouragement in your current season, or looking to deepen your relationship with God, we would love to be a part of your journey!
At each gathering, you can expect to socialize with other moms of all seasons, enjoy snacks and coffee, listen to a short devotional or encouraging word, and have a time of small group discussion. There will also be seasonal crafts and activities to add to the fun! On the Fridays of the month that we do not gather, we will frequently meet up at a park for a playdate or go on a field trip with the littles. Check our social media for the current calendar of events. Free childcare is provided.
We are excited to invite women of all ages to join us for Lydia Ladies, our woman's outreach ministries at Cape Carteret Baptist Church.
Lydia Ladies meet on the 1st and 3rd Monday every month from 9am to 12pm. Our mission is rooted in serving the community and God. As we are reminded in 1 Peter 4:10, "Each of you should use whatever gift you have received to serve others as faithful stewards of God's grace in various forms." Our ladies use their skills to make items to bring comfort to displaced children and seniors in eldercare. No experience with sewing or projects is required to join us in this fulfilling mission. We have projects that every skill level can do! Some past projects include: Cuddle Buddies, Walker Caddies, Tie Blankets and Pocket Scarfs.
We hope you will come and join us as we work on projects together and continue our mission of outreach in our local community.
Be sure to check out some of our Women only groups happening through out the week at CCBC. These groups are designed specifically with women in mind.
