  • Why are we talking about Pastoral Succession?
    • Pastor Kevin understands that for young leaders to step up, older leaders have to step aside.
    • Pastor Kevin has a desire to mentor young leaders for the Church/ Community/ World and to provide developmental resources for pastors.
    • Churches that don’t talk about succession intentionally typically suffer after a transition in leadership.
      We don’t believe that’s God’s desire for our church family.
  • What do we want for you during this season?
    • We want you to have confidence in the process because our Elder Council is seeking wise counsel from those who are devoted to assisting churches through succession successfully.
    • We want you to experience peace, even in a time of transition because you know God is still at work in this season.
    • We want you to celebrate what God has done, is doing, and will do through us as we reach out, build up, and share the good news about Jesus.
  • What do we want from you?
    • We want you to pray for our Elder council and for our Church family during this season of transition.
    • We want you to pass along your questions about the transition process to us.
    • We want you to prepare by asking God how He is forming and positioning you in the life of our chuch.
    • We want you to participate by being present, engaged, and invested in the mission and vision of our Church family.
