Instrumentalists are vital to our worship music. Music is a gift/talent given to them by God which they have developed through years of lessons and practice. What a wonderful way to share this gift/talent by serving others as Jesus would when they play in worship as well as memorial services, weddings and special events.
Our piano and organ players lead us in traditional hymns and choruses for Sunday Worship as well as Wednesday Night Service. We also have individual instrumentalist that play during offertory. They also play for special services such as funerals and weddings. The pianist meets with the choir on Wednesday night as well as special practices for Christmas and Easter. Contact Patty Loftin for more information.
The Singing Saints are a group of our senior adults that enjoy music and love to sing to the glory of God. They meet bi weekly or once a month to practice and prepare their hearts and voices for ministry. They have fellowship with fellow seniors, singing, sharing, learning and praying which develops a closer walk with the Lord and others.
The seniors of our church family are very active and continually serving others. They use their music as a means to reach out to the shut-ins, hospital patients, nursing homes patients and staff, and church family. Singing Saints share of themselves by leading in Sunday Morning Worship at least once a quarter. They accept invitations to sing at special events, revivals, nursing homes and for shut-ins.
